Does The Path Matters?

Does The Path Matters!!!!!

Economy can be divided into three sectors, namely 1) Primary 2) Secondary and Tertiary.

In the Primary sector people do hardwork on something for which they dont have guaranteed results. This includes sectors like farming, fishing, mining etc. For example a farmer cultivates crop for the entire year in a hope that it yields better produce. Unfortunately due to some natural calamity like floods or a cyclone all the hardwork may go in Vain.

In the Secondary sector people work hard in an area where they have some guaranteed results. This includes sectors like manufacturing, oil refining, or any other production. In this sector the results are guaranteed as work in this sector will never fail. Even things goes very bad you have a product which will claim some value in any situation.

In the tertiary sector people work smart than hard. Their intelligence and education plays a major role in this area as this sector is primarily concentrates on serving the above two industries. The examples of this sector include banking, education , transport and distribution etc. These people can earn astronomical amount of sums in a small duration owing to the pre-requisites. There is no much loss because they do not work hard they work smart, if they fail at a later point of time they will succeed definitely because they are educated and smart.

There is something common in all the above three sectors. "WORK". Either you work hard or smart you have to work in any sector. If you take the explanation above the people work in the primary sector are the ones who are great considering humanitarian and logical reasons. But unfortunately things are different in the real world or at least in India. Here people are judged by the type of work rather than the nature of work. I would like to differentiate between these two terms, Type of work is the job you do like teaching, driving, consulting, business man etc, where as the nature of work is a very broad category which is just good and bad. Good work does something good for the society like all the legal jobs, on the other end bad work is something bad to the society like terrorism etc.

Why should we have a difference between people based on the type of work. Why is someone who does something sitting in an air conditioned office is considered superior than someone who does something easier but very important like farming. At the end of the both of us work for the same grains which we need thrice a day.

Smart people answer that people sitting in office earn more. More money does not mean that you deserve more respect than the one who earns less. More money means that you are foresighted if are earning just more than what you need.  If you earn something enough for generations together, it means that you are greedy not needy.

I had a few friends who studied abroad, in order to overcome their expenses they had to do obvious jobs like serving  in restaurants, working in supermarkets etc. Working over there had taught them the value of work and respect to the labour.  Thanks to the western civilization for teaching my friends the value of labour.

Due this differences which exists in the very roots of our country,we have many problems like caste-ism which is the same thing being followed since generations. This problem is not a problem but also the root of many other obstacles in the country. The population is already divided in many aspects making it easier for our rulers and greedy people taking the advantage out of it.

Finally, all of us work which is the starting point, all of us do it for grains which is the end point. Just like our faces are different, the same way our type of work differs which is the path for the same destination. So does the path matters?
